Weird Northwind output

Weird Northwind output

1. My OS is Windows XP Professional 32 bit
2. My eclipse version is Galileo
3. My JDK is 1.6.0_31
4. I set the target platform
5. "No problems were detected" with validate bundles

I'm running the Northwind example with no modifications and using readers from Rifidi Emulator with it. When I move 5 tags to the DockDoor reader (and leave the tags there) in Rifidi Emulator, this is the output I get from the console:

and the output just keeps on going. Is this the correct output? I'm not moving the tags at all once I move them to the dock door, so I don't think these Tag departed events should be happening. Also, whats going on with the Spin wait timeout exceeded messages?

I changed DockDoorTimeout in the properties to 10.0 and it doesn't spit out output infinitely anymore, but it still has the Spin wait timeout messages and outputs extra tag arrived messages. Here is the output:

As another note, when moving tags individually in Rifidi Emulator this problem does not occur. However, whenever I move 2 or more tags at the same time I get a Spin wait timeout exceeded message and at least 1 duplicate tag arrived event. It does not appear to be dependent on the type of tag; I tested with SSCC, CustomEPC, and GID tags. This problem does not appear to be unique to Emulator. Tagstreamer causes the same Spin wait timeout and duplicate messages in the output.

Hi jpj,

That's an interesting problem that I'll be taking a look at this week, but unfortunately I haven't had the time to look at it yet. I'll try to duplicate it and I'll let you know what I find.

Hi jpj,

Are you using multiple antennas? I don't know about the Spin wait timeout exceeded message, but about the duplicate tag reports maybe the server is receiving reports on the antennas as if they were different readzones (same dock_door location, but the filter may be considering each antenna like a different location). Could you add the antenna port number when you report a new arrival? If that´s the case you would get an output like this:

Tag arrived at location dock_door: 3112939da49f196311000000. Antenna 1
Tag arrived at location dock_door: 310f936dda0385b1aa000000. Antenna 2
Tag arrived at location dock_door: 310485c97af4e41a84000000. Antenna 3

Well if you´re not using multiple antennas then this won´t be the case. Just checking.

It's not the antenna. Each reader has only 1 antenna and I added some output which shows that all of the events are happening on antenna 0. The duplicate events also have the same timestamp.
